Registration and Application for 3rd Summer School in Proteomic Basics


The total number of participants will be limited to about 35 to allow extensive discussions and scientific exchange.

The fee covers accommodation and meals (full board) at Augustiner Chorherrenstift Neustift and special activities.

 

 

 

Poster Award

This year we will have a "Best Poster Award". The purpose of the award is to encourage all participants to prepare outstanding posters for presentation during the Summer School. The choice will be done by a poster committee.

 

 

 

Payment

An invoice will be sent to all participants together with a letter of acceptance. Payment of the fee within 10 days after receipt is necessary for attendance of the Summer School. Fellowships

 

The German Society of Proteomic Research (DGPF) offers fellowships of 100 Euro to its members. Members should write an informal email (with the letter of acceptance attached) asking for support to C.Kleinhammer@t-online.de. Non-members of the DGPF wishing to receive members' support are welcome to apply for membership.

The (German) Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Gesellschaft für Biochemie und Molekularbiologie, GBM) also offers fellowships to their members. Please find details for financial assistence to attend the summer school at www.gbm-online.de.

 

Application

 

Applications should contain:

  1. A statement of your reasons for wishing to attend the summer school together with a brief description of your proteomic research interests (to be stated within the application form),
  2. An abstract of their own ongoing research (send as attachment, for format see below) and
  3. Indication of your preferred choice for to topics to discussed in depth in group meetings on one afternoon of the Summer School. Topics are listed in the programme and in the application form.

Your abstract should be submitted as an attachment. It must be in ASCII format (please use your notepad or wordpad editor) and should be prepared as follows:
