Programme and Lectures of 3rd Summer School in Proteomic Basics

The Summer School will be held from August 13 to 19, 2006

Speakers and participants should arrive on Sunday, August 13. The summer school will start in the early evening of August 13 with a survey of Proteomics and an informal get-together party.

Key note speakers will provide an extensive and detailed overview of their field, especially as related to the topics that will be covered at the summer school:

  1. Rolf Apweiler - Bioinformatics
  2. Friedrich Herbeg - Biophysical Methods for Interactions Analysis
  3. Christian Huber - Chromatography
  4. Lukas A. Huber - Pre-fractionation and Sample Preparation
  5. Axel Imhof - Post-Translational Modifications/Acetylation and Methylation
  6. Judith Jebanathirajah - Quantification Methods
  7. Ole Nørregaard Jensen - Post-Translational Modifications/Phosphorylation
  8. Michael Karas - MALDI Mass Spectrometry
  9. Bernhard Küster - Protein Complexes/Protein-Protein Interactions
  10. Friedrich Lottspeich - Overview in Proteomics
  11. Helmut E. Meyer - Planning a Proteome Project
  12. Burghardt Scheibe - 2D-Gelelectrophoresis, DIGE
  13. Albert Sickmann - Membrane Proteins
  14. Hanno Steen - Electrospray Mass Spectrometry
  15. Christian Stephan - Bioinformatics
